TC Fleming

Chief Financial Officer

TC’s industry and corporate finance experience spans over 25 years in numerous industries, including software, big data analytics, financial institutions, energy producers, manufacturing & distribution, environmental services, transportation, specialty finance, publishing, and consumer retail. 

Prior to joining Aetion, TC served as the Chief Financial Officer at 1010data, Inc., a fast-growing New York-based software-as-a-service company specializing in big data analytics. At 1010data, TC helped lead the maturation of the business from a venture-backed early-stage to a successful exit at >$500m.

Prior to 1010data, TC served as a senior advisor to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court appointed Examiner on certain financial issues arising from the Lehman Brothers’ bankruptcy. TC managed multiple teams of forensic accountants, systems analysts, and financial analysts.

Previously, TC was a Senior Equity Analyst with an alternative investment fund focused on small- to mid-cap investments. Prior to that, TC spent 9 years working at Deloitte in the Special Transaction Services group serving large private equity clients such as the Texas Pacific Group and Silver Lake Partners. He was also a manager in the firm’s audit practices in Chicago, San Francisco, and London, where his clients included Fortune 500 SEC registrants as well as privately held corporations.

TC has multiple undergraduate degrees from the University of Notre Dame, and an M.B.A. from NYU Stern School of Business. TC also has post-graduate credentials from Stanford University Graduate School of Management and IESE Business School. 

In addition, TC serves as a member of the Board of Directors of United Neighborhood Houses, a not-for profit serving settlement houses and community centers that provide vital services to more than 750,000 New Yorkers each year. TC also regularly lectures on accounting and financial due diligence topics and has authored/co-authored articles published in The Daily Deal and Seeking Alpha.
